Nominations for positions on the Business Member Board of Governors (BMBG) and business member seats on the APTA Board of Directors are accepted in the early spring of each year. Under the nomination procedures established by APTA, the BMBG Nominations Committee proposes business members to serve in both capacities for approval in an election that will be held in June at the APTA Rail Conference this year.
The members of the BMBG Nominations Committee for 2007 are Kim Green (Chair), Tom Barron, Sandy Lautenberg, Pat Scully and Paul Skoutelas.
In 2008 nomination information is being distributed to APTA business members on January 31 with completed nomination forms due back to APTA by 5 p.m. eastern time on March 3, 2008. No late applications will be accepted. The slate of nominees will be sent to APTA business members in early May and the election will be held on Monday June 2, 2008 during the APTA Rail Conference in San Francisco.
