The Bus Technical Maintenance Committee was established to improve the safety, efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness of transit bus maintenance. The scope encompasses all elements of transit buses, including

• new bus designs
• propulsion systems
• engine emissions
• fuels
• on-board equipment
• facilities
• maintenance management
• and training.

The committee cosponsors the Bus Technical, Maintenance and Procurement Workshop.
