 Procurement and Materials Management Committee 

This committee is concerned with procurement methods, life cycle cost evaluations, terms and conditions, bond requirements, federal procurement requirements, and the relationship between buyers and suppliers of transit equipment, materials and services. The committee scope also includes materials management and stockroom operations.

The committee co-sponsors the Bus Equipment and Maintenance/Procurement and Materials Management Workshop.

Members of this committee are also involved in standard-setting for industry procurements.  Draft standards (as well as recommended practices and white papers) will be posted here for open comment prior to final adoption.  Comments on these documents should be directed to Bill Baum at wbaum@apta.com or 202-496-4888.
