Highlights

Join APTA at its bi-annual ITS International Best Practices Workshop: Wireless Communications in Charlotte, North Carolina, July 13-14, 2009. The workshop’s theme is Wireless Communications. Session topics will include spectrum, bus applications, rail applications, implications of the impending FCC changes in 2011/2012, and an update of the TCRP C-18 Report.

Speakers will include representatives from Charlotte CATS, FTA, TriMet, SAIC, U.S. DOT, UTA, and private organizations that are using or developing Wireless Communications Applications. International speakers will discuss similar developments from around the world on each panel.

Who Should Attend

Officials from state DOTs, transit agencies, municipal agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, and private vendors are encouraged to attend.
