Local Coalition Grant Program
The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) supports and energizes grassroots coalitions through its Local Transit Coalition Grant Program. Activities funded include both public education programs and advocacy efforts, and have proven to be extremely helpful in promoting transit in communities around the country. The experience has been that a small amount of funding can often go a long way in boosting local grassroots efforts.
In Spring 2013, APTA will again accept applications for the Local Coalition Grant Program. Please view the grant guidelines for application and funding information. Application forms will be made available and accepted starting in May 2013. All applications will be due June 14th and grant awardees announced by July 2013.
