The Rodeo showcases competitors' professional skills in separate competitions for train operator and maintainer teams.
The rail operator team competition measures the operators' professional customer service and operating skills including knowledge of safety regulations, train equipment, wayside rules, regulations, and procedures. The rail maintainer team competition is a competitive test of the maintainers' skills and abilities.
Operator teams may be one or two operators; maintainer teams may be one, two or three maintainers. Every contestant has impressive skills and makes significant contributions to the vitality of our industry. We thank them for excellent service.
