The 2012 Fare Collection Workshop & TransITech Conference is scheduled for March 20-22, 2012 (Tuesday-Thursday), at the Worthington Renaissance in Fort Worth, Texas.
This event will have three joint general sessions with emphases on Information Technology and Fare Collection. Other sessions will be divided into two tracks: Fare Collection and TransITech. Attendees can attend sessions in both tracks.

- Hotel reservations at the Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel must be received by February 24, 2012, to receive APTA's discounted room rate. Please note that rooms may sell out prior to February 24, so early bookings are recommended.
- Product Showcase Exhibitors must reserve their booth by February 10, 2012.

About This Event
The Fare Collection Workshop features fare collection and enforcement, equipment maintenance, fare structure concepts, moneyhandling security, surveillance, and fare media standards. Also features an equipment display.
The TransITech Conference, includes information technology specific and innovative technologies, transit-focused technologies, traveler information, electronic payment systems, and other transportation system issues affecting public transportation.
Who should attend Fare Collection: transit and supplier/consultant personnel engaged in the design, procurement, and operation of fare collection methods, equipment, and technology.
Who should attend TransITech: public transportation information technology professionals, chief information officers, operations managers and staff, software developers, and all of those who benefit from modern public transportation information technologies.
