APTA cordially invites its members to submit an abstract(s) to be considered for presentation at the 2012 Multimodal Operations Planning Workshop, which will be held July 30-August 1, 2012, at the Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland, and hosted by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA).
Please note that the deadline for abstract submissions was on April 6, 2012.
The topic areas we plan to focus on at this year's workshop include: More Expectations, Fewer Resources: Looking for Efficiencies, Ridership Changes Based on Transit Benefits Changes and Other Factors, Service Planning and Scheduling for Special Events and Natural Disasters, Developing Relationships with City Planners, Operations Scheduling, Facilities Planning, Innovations in Vehicles, and Service Planning and Scheduling.
If you have topic ideas outside these areas that you would like to have considered, please do not hesitate to submit them. We are looking for the latest information on best practices, successful projects, and knowledge transfer relating to all areas of transit planning and scheduling.
How to Submit an Abstract
Your submittal must include:
An abstract describing the subject to be presented
- A completed Proposed Technical Presentation Submittal Form

The deadline for submitting abstracts is Friday, April 6, 2012.
