Important Dates

  • Early Fee Deadline – April 30, 2012
  • Refund Deadline – May 4, 2012
  • Deadline for Your Name on Printed Registration List – May 22, 2012
  • Pre-registration Deadline – May 29, 2012
  • On-site Registration – June 3-6, 2012

Registration Fees

Please note that if you wish to attend the Evening at Gilley's event on June 2, you must RSVP by checking the box on your registration form. There is no additional cost for this event, and all registrants and guests are invited.

Rail Rodeo Awards Banquet tickets may be purchased during the registration process for $75 each. If you would like to sit with your Rodeo team, please indicate so on your form and your tickets will be filed with your Rodeo team's registration packet so they can get you assigned seating at their table. Otherwise, your ticket will be in your Rail Conference registration packet.

Member Registration

  • $575 per person - on or before April 30, 2012
  • $625 per person - after April 30, 2012 

Non-member Registration

  • $1125 per person

Non-members may attend for a special fee. The special fee is the late registration fee plus $500 (Applied to dues if you join within 3 months). Call APTA's Membership Department (202-496-4800) for details.

Spouse/Guest Fees

  • $125 per person

The spouse/guest fee includes the Welcome Reception and Showcase lunch. This rate is not applicable to fellow employees or industry professionals.

Products & Services Showcase-Only Registration

  • $125 per person (reception & lunch included)

Exhibitor personnel, as well as anyone wishing to just walk the show floor, can register for the Product & Services Showcase only. Showcase-only registrants are also welcome to attend Evening at Gilley's event on June 2. Please note: This badge will only give you access to the exhibit floor. No conference sessions or other meal functions are included.

If you are an exhibitor, there is one free showcase-only registration included with the purchase of a booth. Please fill in the information for the free badge on the Showcase Reservation form. Attendees who are registered for the entire Rail Conference do not need to purchase an additional floor access badge.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees will be refunded if a request is received in writing no later than May 4, 2012. A 20% cancellation fee will be withheld. There will be no refunds after the May 4 deadline.

In the event of a serious illness or emergency, you may qualify to have the registration fee, minus a 20% processing fee, applied to a future conference (must be used within one year) if your request is receive in writing no later than June 29, 2012. There will be no credits after the June 29 deadline.

You may transfer your registration fee at any time without penalty to another person in your organization attending the 2012 Rail Conference.
