The 2015 International Rail Rodeo is scheduled for June 17-21, 2015, at the Grand America Hotel, 555 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT.

About the International Rail Rodeo

The 2015 International Rail Rodeo will train operators and maintainers in, and boost their knowledge of, the latest in rail mechanics. Salt Lake City will host a great experience
with the use of their Light Rail System. Celebrate your frontline employees by sending your best team of operators and maintainers to learn, network, and experience the International
Rail Rodeo in Salt Lake City, Utah.

For persons who need paratransit service rather than accessible fixed-route or rail service, UTA Flex Trans is available. Visitors with paratransit eligibility at another transit agency may use up to 21 days of Flex Trans services a year before applying for eligibility with UTA. Airport Transportation Information

Transportation from Salt Lake City International Airport to Grand America Hotel
The airport is about four miles from Downtown Salt Lake City. Ride the TRAX Green Line – UTA’s fully accessible light rail service – from outside the south end of Salt Lake International Airport’s Terminal 1 to the Courthouse Station across from the Grand America Hotel. For more information on Utah Transit Authority, visit www.rideuta.com. TRAX service is offered Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. – 11 p.m., and Sunday 9:45 a.m. – 10 p.m. The one-way fare is $2.50. Trains depart from the airport on weekdays every 15 minutes and weekends, every 20 minutes. For airport information, visit www.slcairport.com.

Complimentary Transit Pass

When you register for the conference, be sure to visit the host information desk in the APTA registration area and pick up your complimentary transit pass valid for all Utah Transit Authority services from during the conference.

Host Information Desk

Utah Transit Authority will have an information desk in the APTA registration area in the hotel Saturday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 24. Host staff will answer whatever questions you may have regarding local sites, restaurants, social and cultural activities, and provide information and maps.
The host information desk will be open the same hours as the APTA registration desk:
 
Saturday, June 20 1 - 5 p.m.
Sunday, June 21 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Monday, June 22 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 23 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
