The METRO Blue Line light rail connects both terminals at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport with downtown Minneapolis. Trains operate every 10 minutes at most times, and travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

From the airport, METRO Transit recommends taking the northbound Blue Line to the Warehouse District station. Transfer to the southbound  bus routes 10, 11, 17, or 18 at the bus stop on Hennepin Ave. just south of 5th St., next to a parking lot. Request a stop at the Grant St. and Nicollet Ave. stop, then head north on Nicollet Ave. The Hyatt Regency will be on the left.

From the hotel to the airport, take the northbound bus routes 10, 11, 17, or 18 from 12th St. and Lasalle Ave. stop to the Warehouse District station. Transfer to the southbound Blue Line in the direction of the airport and Mall of America, and exit at the appropriate airport station for your terminal.

The map on the left illustrates public transportation in Downtown Minneapolis between the Warehouse District station and the Hyatt Regency.

LRT fare is good for 2 ½ hours of unlimited transfers on buses and trains. More information, including a Trip Planner, is available at metrotransit.org.

Please note that due to construction, there will be no bus service on Nicollet Mall. Sidewalks will be partially closed along the Mall as well.
