Abstracts on transit and MPO partnerships that facilitate sustainable communities are welcome.
- Green Design, Materials, and Infrastructure – Abstracts should focus on integrating sustainability into construction projects, mitigating environmental impacts and decreasing life cycle costs.
- Sustainable Operations – Abstracts should focus on energy efficient and environmentally sound, and socially responsive practices in transit operations and maintenance (including the role of new technologies, energy-efficient fleets).
- Sustainable business practices in manufacturing, procurement, project management etc. and sustainable organizations, including green offices, workforce engagement, performance metrics, sustainability reporting (including “how-to’s”, lessons learned and benefits)
If you have topic ideas outside these areas that you would like to have considered, please don’t hesitate to submit them.
