APTA's International Program was created to help you learn about opportunities designed to enhance your competitive edge and be actively involved in the global public transportation marketplace. APTA has an extensive international network supported by international partnerships, as well as ongoing collaborations with the U.S. Federal Transit Administration international office.
Whether you are interested in exporting a product, expanding your business abroad, or simply learning about public transportation in regions outside of North America, APTA's International Program is here to help!

- Study Missions
APTA organizes missions where our members are able to explore and learn about public transportation systems around the world.
- Trade Missions/Virtual Trade Missions
The majority of the world's consumers are outside of the United States. APTA conducts trade missions overseas, or from the conveniency of your computer through virtual trade missions, to countries interested in doing business with the U.S. public transportation industry.
- FTA International Program
APTA works closely with the U.S. Federal Transit Administration International Public Transportation Program (IPTP) on several collaborations.
