Salci Joins Colorado Railcar as President

This Week in Passenger Transport

April 28, 2008

Colorado Railcar Manufacturing LLC has named Larry Salci its president and chief executive officer. The company’s founder and former president, Tom Rader, remains the sole shareholder, but said he will focus on his other business interests.

Salci comes to Colorado Railcar with 37 years of experience in the transportation industry, most recently with St. Louis Metro, where he was president and chief executive officer from 2002 to January of this year.

St. Louis Metro named Robert J. Baer as its interim president and CEO following Salci’s departure.
