 Security Resources

A number of different Security programs and resources are available through APTA. These help ensure that transit agencies are successful in maintaining and improving the security of their resources, employees, and customers throughout their systems.

APTA offers a wide variety of services to the industry and emphasizes security through our Peer Reviews,  Public Transportation Information Sharing & Analysis Center (PT-ISAC), Emergency Response Preparedness Program (ERPP) and Security Standards Program, along with our various committees and collaboration networks. These processes assist members by ensuring that best practices and industry standards are implemented and maintained, ultimately resulting in a safer and more secure environment.
