"In Town, Without My Car"
A concert, children's games, and urban art were just a few of the activities organized by the Agence metropolitaine de transport in Montreal as part of its "In Town Without My Car!" special event. The event was organized to educate the public about the overuse of single-occupant vehicles and to inform them of various alternative means of transportation. The event was a success with 39 percent of car drivers who usually make exclusive use of their car acknowledged that the event encouraged them to consider other means of transportation.
