Using public opinion research, which concluded that helping the environment was one of the top motivators for consumers to consider riding public transportation, Metro Transit in Minneapolis developed its winning television commercial featuring several vignettes showing people fixing some of the small things in life and asking viewers to take the small step of riding public transportation to help fix the environment.
