Triangle Transit Authority showed off its community spirit by holding a food drive for a local food bank. The drive encouraged passengers to bring aboard a food donation in exchange for a free ride. Despite a disastrous ice storm just four days before the event, the agency decided the drive must go on. TTA collected more than 800 pounds of food and showed transit cares about communities.
