Nominations for the 2009 APTA Awards Are Open!
The APTA Awards recognizes excellence in the public transportation industry in North America, both on an individual level and an organizational level. Called the “best of the best” of the public transportation industry, the APTA award winners are outstanding role models of excellence, leadership, and innovation whose accomplishments have greatly advanced public transportation.
The 2009 award categories are:
Outstanding Public Transportation Manager Award
Outstanding Public Transportation Board Member Award
Outstanding Public Transportation Business Member Awards
Outstanding Business Executive of the Year Award
Local Distinguished Service Award
Hall of Fame Award
Innovation Award
Outstanding Public Transportation System Achievement Award.
We strongly encourage APTA members to nominate top individuals and organizations who deserve to be recognized for their significant contributions.
