American Public Transportation Foundation Fourteenth Annual Benefit Golf Tournament

American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) Transit Hall of Fame Scholarship Program

Wednesday, May 3, 2006

Black Gold Golf Club

Yorba Linda, California

While attending the APTA Bus and Paratransit Conference in Orange County, come out and enjoy a "relaxing" 18 holes of golf. Take time to visit the Product Showcase during the conference to support our business members as you also support our future transportation leaders at this golf tournament.

Enjoy the camaraderie of this popular event that has become a very important fund raiser for the American Public Transportation Foundation, the scholarship fund of APTA. Part of your registration fee is a donation to the fund (see below for details). Fill out the registration form today and don't miss out on this unique opportunity to play golf and enjoy an afternoon at the beautiful Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda, California.

In the foothills of Yorba Linda, California (Orange County) golfers have discovered gold, Black Gold that is. This is more than just a play on words; it is the city of Yorba Linda's prized possession, Black Gold Golf Club. Black Gold Golf Club, an Arthur Hills championship designed golf course, is Orange County's newest premiere golf facility. The club's name is a by-product of its location, built on the old Shell Oil Field in the foothills above Yorba Linda, California. The challenging par 72 layout incorporates several water features (including a stunning waterfall off the 18th green), slight elevation changes, rolling hills, strategic bunkering and the most incredible vistas overlooking Orange County and Long Beach. On a clear day golfers can view the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island from several points along the course.
