American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) Transit Hall of Fame Scholarship Program
Application Checklist
All sections (I-VI) of the scholarship application must be completed. Scholarship application must include the following:
A description of internship program or supplemental educational program from nominating/sponsoring organization for nominee describing how applicant will be used in the organization and contact information for applicant's coordinator/mentor.
A typed, double-spaced essay of 1,000 words or less on "In what segment of the public transportation industry will you make a career and why?"
Three (3) letters of recommendations from individuals explaining why you qualify for scholarship. Recommendations must not come from relatives.
A copy of completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form (FAFSA).
Official college transcript.
Verification of enrollment for the 2006 Fall semester.
Copy of the fee schedule from the college/university for the academic year.
