Please join APTA on Tuesday, April 9, for an Advocacy Afternoon to advocate for full funding for public transit and passenger rail. Your voice is instrumental as Congress considers the FY 2025 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) Appropriations bill and other critical legislation.
While in Washington, DC, APTA strongly encourages members to participate in an APTA Advocacy Afternoon and meet with Members of Congress following the last session of the 2024 APTA Legislative Conference. APTA will coordinate in-person visits with your Members of Congress the afternoon of Tuesday, April 9, between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET. Please be aware that meetings may take place anytime during this window.
A separate advocacy training and logistics webinar will be provided to Advocacy Afternoon registrants prior to April 9.
To match you with your Members of Congress, please fill out this form in its entirety to ensure the proper in-person meetings are scheduled on your behalf.
In addition to your primary place of business, please consider including locations where you conduct business or provide a service. For example, if you provide a service or supply a component outside your business address and in a different Congressional District or State, please consider including that location in the form below. Please include a description of the service to ensure we match you with the appropriate Member of Congress.
