This toolkit designed to help transit agencies bridge the workforce gap and leverage customizable recruitment resources

The International Transportation Learning Center operates the Transit Workforce Center for the Federal Transit Administration.

As part of the FTA’s response to the severe frontline transit workforce shortage, the TWC in 2022 launched #ConnectingMyCommunity: The National Transit Frontline Worker Campaign Toolkit. The toolkit provides a wealth of customizable resources for transit agencies to use to easily create a local hiring campaign, with a focus on bus operators and maintenance workers.

The toolkit includes tips for creating a campaign, customizable ad templates, example transit agency recruiting videos, print and digital advertising examples from various agencies, a set of case studies, and a collection of reports on recruiting and hiring.
