Admission to all scheduled activities requires a name badge. Please register and pick up your badge upon arrival. The registration desk, located in the Hilton Union Square, is open the following times:

AdWheel Awards Exhibit   

All entries in the 2015 AdWheel Awards Competition will be showcased at a special AdWheel Exhibit. Be sure to visit the exhibit and see the best in public transportation marketing, advertising, and communications. The exhibit is the perfect place to gather new marketing and communications ideas.
And make sure to attend the AdWheel Awards Ceremony on Monday, October 6, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to see who comes out on top in this year’s competition.

American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF)

The APTF is a 501c (3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the education and professional development of young professionals pursuing careers in public transportation.
 
The APTF is hosting the following three events during the Annual Meeting:
 

+ Love to golf?  Participate in the APTF’s Annual Golf Tournament at the historic Presidio Golf Course on Saturday, October 3 (shotgun start 8 a.m.).
+ Be sure to attend the APTF Reception on Monday, October 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for an evening of food, music to celebrate this year’s scholarship winners. + + And plan to attend the special program honoring the 2015 APTF Scholarship Awards recipients on Tuesday, October 6, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Conference Name Badges

Name badges are required for all educational sessions, committee meetings, meal functions, receptions, and technical tours. Please cooperate by wearing your badge at all times during the Annual Meeting.

Continuing Education Credentialing

APTA plans to award CEUs for educational sessions. Stay tuned for details.

Higher Education Student Ambassador Program – The Next Generation

Continuing APTA’s mission, students from higher educational institutions – including universities, community colleges, technical institutes, and vocational schools – are encouraged to participate in APTA’s meetings, conferences, and other educational offerings. Students have a unique opportunity to network with a variety of transit professionals.
 

Student registration is free and includes admission to:
+ educational sessions
+ Products & Services Showcase
+ technical tours
 
To be eligible, the student must:
+ be currently enrolled in a college or university
+ complete the Conference Registration Form
+ present his or her current student ID when registering on site

Host Information Desk

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (Muni) will have a general information desk in the APTA registration area in the Hilton SF Union Square Saturday, October 3 through Wednesday, October 7. Host staff will be available to answer questions you may have regarding local sites, restaurants, social and cultural activities, and to provide transportation information and maps. Be sure to stop by and pick up your complimentary regional transit pass, good from    October 3-8. The host information desk will be open the same hours as the APTA registration desk.

Leadership APTA

Welcome the Leadership APTA Class of 2015 who will be honored at a special program featuring their leadership project presentations and graduation ceremonies on Tuesday, October 6, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. We also welcome the incoming Class of 2016 who will be recognized at the Tuesday afternoon program. And, plan to attend the Leadership APTA reception is scheduled on Tuesday, October 6, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Speakers & Moderators

A room will be available Monday through Wednesday. Moderators are encouraged to use this room to meet informally with their speakers to go over last-minute details prior to the start of their sessions, and to preview their PowerPoint presentations. The room is open the same times as the APTA registration desk.
