Participants were invited to attend a prominent industry event, where they assumed a business development role. This experience allowed them to gain a comprehensive understanding of the full business funnel, from lead generation to closing deals, thereby fostering a more integrated and collaborative approach to company success. Strategy Objective:As employees have shown interest in business development, inquired about the sales cycle, and started to interface more with industry decision-makers, the Icomera marketing team committed to building a sustainable and succession-ready workforce. Of the 35-person North America team, 10 employees, including Field Service Engineers, People & Culture Managers, Service Delivery Managers, Solutions Engineers, Project Managers, Directors of Engineering, and Global Product Leads, were asked to step out of their comfort zones, engage in networking, and contribute to timely industry discussions.
