Siemens Coloring Book to Encourage Awareness in Young and Future Riders

Target Audience: The coloring book was created for transit agencies and board members, suppliers, the general public, government and public figures as well as their young family members and future transit riders.

Strategy Objective:Siemens was looking for a way to encourage interest and bring awareness about rail transportation as well as offer insights and fun facts into the different types of light rail and locomotive vehicles we manufacture and the cities they operate in.

Situation Challenge: This coloring book was created as a giveaway item during the last APTA EXPO where we wanted to be able to share something that family members could use as a way to bond with their young ones or friends after returning from the show as for many that this may have been the first time on extended travel since the pandemic.

Results Impact: This entry was shared with hundreds of official and unofficial transit representatives and customers and has been also distributed within our own employee base. It has encouraged awareness, conversation and interest in the various types of rail transportation methods we offer.

Why Submit: This entry was submitted because it demonstrates Siemens' commitment to today's youth and potential future transportation experts and riders. To encourage the young minds of today and spark an interest in transportation's future.
