Hudson Link is Listening

Target Audience: Transdev created this campaign for riders of HudsonLink in Hudson County, NY. A bus service connecting Hudson and Rockland Counties in New York.

Strategy Objective:Create a three-week campaign around a passenger satisfaction survey to showcase that we were committed to listening to all feedback from the riders and other stakeholders of the service. We wanted riders to take the survey, but more importantly, we wanted to ensure that everyone saw how committed we are to listening and interacting with our passengers. Campaign elements included the following ... A website campaign and QR code to the survey A robust social media campaign supported by other digital ads Posters and ads at shelters, kiosks and transit centers Rack cards and digital ads on all buses Meet the Manager events to engage with public with reminders and gifts Stickers and email signature blocks for all communication A widespread thank you on all channels (after the survey closed)

Situation Challenge: We were trying to promote all the ways that we are committed to listening to the riders of our Hudson Link bus service. We created an integrated campaign for our client (HudsonLink) to not only deliver on a passenger satisfaction survey, but also to create a brand awareness moment for the people in the ridership area.

Results Impact: Passengers were impressed with our willingness the interact and listen to our passengers with such enthusiasm and care. The campaign was professional and brought lots of enthusiasm to the service.

Why Submit: We were able to turn a simple passenger satisfaction survey into a brand building campaign for Hudson Link. In a year where ridership was severely impacted, we wanted to ensure that we spread our outreach as widely as possible. The result was a lot of goodwill from the client, riders, and general public for this proactive listening campaign.
