rabbittransit's 2020 Annual Report


Target Audience: rabbittransit publishes its annual report in October and mails it out to government agencies, politicians, business owners, and other agency stakeholders. We publish it on our website and share on social media to reach our ridership, taxpayers, and others in our community.

Strategy Objective:The theme of our 2020 annual report was "Making a Difference Together." The COVID-19 pandemic revealed how essential and important public transit is to our community. During the course of the year, there came a time when we were operating solely for life-sustaining purposes. We helped get people to work, medical appointments and provided access to food. rabbittransit never wavered on our commitment to provide safe and reliable transportation while following the established COVID-19 guidelines. This 2020 annual report highlights many of the ways we were involved in the community at a time when they needed us most.

Situation Challenge: For the third year in a row, the annual report was designed in-house. Aiming to keep the design fresh and attractive, the designer used a limited palette, picking out colors to highlight while leaving the rest of the photos in the black-and-white. The treatment gave the annual report a fun, pop-art design that caught the eye and encouraged people to continue flipping to the next page.

Results Impact: The annual report was well-received within the community. We heard from many stakeholders who enjoyed the look of the new report. The theme increased awareness of rabbittransit's active role in serving our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Why Submit: We feel our annual report stands out and presents our message in a transparent way that encourages engagement. We want our audience to understand that the rabbittransit team works cohesively throughout the company and with our community to provide essential services during the good times and the bad.
