Airport Transportation

Scheduled bus service is available to and from Nashville International Airport using Route 18 Airport/Downtown. Located in the Ground Transportation area on Level 1 at the airport, APTA attendees can access the stop by making a right as they exit the airport and continuing straight until they see a blue-and-white Nashville MTA sign. The service operates hourly daily and costs $1.70 one-way.  Several APTA block hotels are accessible along the Downtown portion of the route with major time points at Music City Center (Convention Center) and Music City Central (Downtown bus station). Visit for a downloadable version.  Schedules are also available on-site. To read more about service to and from the Airport, visit

Your return trip to the airport is just as easy. Route 18 Airport/Downtown buses depart from Bay 13 at Music City Central.  To access Music City Central, catch a Route 18 bus on 6th Avenue as it travels to Downtown and stay onboard as the bus departs from Downtown. Or, catch the Green Circuit, a free Downtown circulator service that runs every 30 minutes during a.m. peak. Route 18 buses do not stop at Music City Center when traveling to the airport.

For the quickest trip, catch an18 Airport Express bus and get to the airport in about 20 minutes. Depending on traffic, local trips can take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.

Both the Route 18 and Green Circuit schedules can be downloaded at To read more about service to and from the Airport, visit
