Registration for the 2011 Bus Conference has closed, but you can still register on-site at the conference.

Important Dates

  • Early Fee Deadline – April 15, 2011
  • Refund Deadline – April 22, 2011
  • Deadline for your name on Registration List – May 11, 2011
  • Pre-registration Deadline – May 18, 2011
  • On-site Registration – May 22-25, 2011

Registration Types

Member Registration

  • $575 per person - on or before April 15, 2011
  • $625 per person - after April 15, 2011

Your fee for the entire 2011 Bus & Paratransit Conference is $575 per person if payment is received by APTA on or before April 15, 2011. After April 15th, the registration fee is $625 per person.

Non-member Registration

  • $1125 per person

Non-members may attend for a special fee. The special fee is the late registration fee plus $500 (Applied to dues if you join within 3 months). Call APTA's Membership Department (202-496-4800) for details.

Spouse/Guest Fees

  • $125 per person

Spouses or guests may attend for a fee of $125 per person. This rate is not applicable to fellow employees or industry professionals.

Product Showcase-Only or Bus Display-Only Registration

  • $50 per person (lunch included)

Exhibitor personnel, as well as anyone wishing to just walk the show floor or bus display, can register for the Product Showcase only, or the Bus Display only. Please note: This badge will only give you access to the exhibit floor or the bus display area. No conference sessions or other meal functions are included.

Bus Roadeo Awards Banquet

The International Bus Roadeo Awards Banquet will be held Tuesday, May 24 from 7 - 9 p.m. Tickets may be pre-ordered for $75 each by completing the Bus Roadeo Awards Banquet Tickets portion of the conference registration form.

Small Starts Workshop

The workshop, which will be held on Wednesday, May 25, from 1:30 - 5:00 p.m., provides the technical requirements of the major capital investment planning and project development process and provides the latest issues affecting small starts and very small starts program.

Registration Fee for this Workshop:

  • Free - Bus & Paratransit Conference attendees (but you still must register separately for the workshop)
  • $75 - anyone not attending the conference

If you did not pre-register for this workshop, please do so at the APTA registration desk in Room L-4, Lobby Level in the Convention Center.

Conference Registration Desk

Admission to all scheduled activities requires a name badge. Please register and pick up your badge upon arrival. The registration desk, located in the Convention Center, will be open the following times:

Saturday, May 21  7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, May 22 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Monday, May 23 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 24 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, May 25       8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees will be refunded if a request is received in writing and post-marked no later than April 22, 2011. A 20% cancellation fee will be withheld. There will be no refunds after the April 22nd deadline.

In the event of a serious illness or emergency, you may qualify to have the registration fee, minus a 20% processing fee, applied to a future conference (must be used within one year).

You may transfer your registration fee at any time without penalty to another person in your organization attending the 2011 Bus & Paratransit Conference.
