Long Beach Transit's buses are all accessible, as are the buses and rail service of neighboring transit systems.
Long Beach Transit (LBT) will have complimentary buses running directly from Long Beach Airport (LGB) to the three conference/roadeo hotels. In addition, you may take regular fixed route service or private transportation from Long Beach Airport, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and John Wayne (Orange County) Airport (SNA (OC)).
APTA’s Business Members are hosting a networking and resource room in Room 203-C, Level 2 in the Convention Center during the conference for conversation and connections. In addition, a Business Member Networking Breakfast will be held on Monday, May 7.
As a courtesy to other attendees, please turn off cell phones and other personal mobile devices during committee meetings and business sessions.
Committee meetings are open to all interested APTA members. Members are encouraged to participate and become involved.
APTA plans to award AICP CM credits for sessions tailored to the needs of new and experienced planning officials.
The organizing committee encourages a business casual dress code at ALL events.

Host Information Desk
Long Beach Transit (LBT) has a general information desk in the APTA registration area, Room 203-B, Level 2 in the Convention Center. LBT staff is available to answer questions you may have regarding local sites, restaurants, social and cultural activities, and to provide transportation information and maps. The host information desk is open the same hours as the APTA registration desk.

When you register for the conference, you’ll receive a complimentary transit pass good for all LBT services during the conference. There are plenty of fun things to see and do in Long Beach and the passes are good through Sunday, May 13.
Name badges are required for all business sessions, committee meetings, meal functions, receptions, and technical tours. Please cooperate by wearing your badge at all times during the conference.
Admission to all scheduled activities requires a name badge. Please register and pick up your badge upon arrival. The registration desk, located in Room 203-B, Level 2 in the Convention Center, is open the following times:

Boardroom I, Third Floor in the Renaissance has been reserved daily, from Sunday through Wednesday, for moderators to meet informally with their speakers to go over last-minute details prior to the start of their sessions. In addition, Moderator/Speaker Guidelines and APTA's PowerPoint template are available from the link below.
Encouraging student involvement is an important goal for APTA's conferences and meetings. Currently enrolled students can register free for this conference.
TCRP Information Center
For more information on the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP), stop by the TCRP Information Center, located in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, Level 2 in the Convention Center, from Monday through Wednesday. You may also visit the TCRP website at www.tcrponline.org.
Each paid registrant will receive online access to the conference technical papers as part of the conference registration fee.
