2011 Practicum

The 2011 International Practicum on Implementing High-Speed Rail in the United States, presented by the American Public Transportation Association & The International Union of Railways, was held on May 3-5, 2011, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland.

About This Seminar

Join international high-speed rail practitioners and top domestic rail experts for an in-depth workshop that will provide the critical information you need to implement high and higher speed rail in the United States.

The practicum will cover key elements on infrastructure, rolling stock, operations, finances and management, markets and customers and federal and state programs. It will include an advanced track which will build on the successful 2010 program.

Who Should Attend: This program is designed for individuals who will be involved in implementation of the nationally-designated high and higher-speed rail corridors.
