Host Information Desk
The Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CapMetro) will have a general information desk in the APTA registration area in Westin Austin Downtown from Sunday, July 24 through Tuesday, July 26. Host staff will be available to answer questions you may have regarding local sites, restaurants, social and cultural activities, and to provide transportation information and maps. The host information desk will be open the same hours as the APTA registration desk.

Complimentary Transit Pass
Attendees who register two weeks prior to the workshop will receive an email from APTA with information on downloading an electronic complimentary transit pass from CapMetro. There will also be information on downloading a one-day Austin B-Cycle pass so you can experience the city via bikeshare. If you register within two weeks of the workshop, you can visit the host information desk and learn more information on picking up or downloading these passes on-site.
Public Transportation from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Westin Austin Downtown
The MetroAirport bus (Route 100) offers direct bus service to downtown Austin every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. Fare is $1.75 (complimentary with the transit pass). Attendees using this option are encouraged to request a stop at the 4th and Trinity stop, which is within one block of the Westin Austin. Directions from there are:
- Walk in the direction of traffic on Trinity Street toward E 5th Street
- Make a left onto E 5th Street
- At E 5th and San Jacinto Streets, the Westin Austin Downtown will be on your right
