 Statement by American Public Transportation Association (APTA) President and CEO Michael Melaniphy On the DOT Appointments of Peter Rogoff and Therese McMillan


“The American Public Transportation Association congratulates Peter Rogoff on his selection as DOT’s Acting Undersecretary for Policy and Therese McMillan as Acting Federal Transit Administrator.  

We thank Peter Rogoff  for his nearly five years of leadership at FTA, where he advanced public transportation throughout the country.  His experience will serve our country well as he undertakes the broader transportation policy issues. 

Therese McMillan has been an outstanding FTA Deputy Administrator and has extensive expertise and understanding of public transportation programs.  We look forward to working with her in her new leadership role as Acting Administrator.”
