 Public Transportation EXPO Highlights Innovation and Technology

 800+ Exhibitors Head to Atlanta for APTA EXPO

The American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) Annual Meeting & EXPO 2017 – the largest public transportation expo in the world – will bring together 12,000 public transportation leaders to explore the latest innovative technologies from autonomous vehicles to zero emission buses. Leaders from more than 75 countries will address a wide range of topics including emergency preparedness and disaster relief, security, safety, federal funding, public-private partnerships, workforce development, and shared mobility.

Registered media​ have free access to both the EXPO show floor and Annual Meeting sessions.

Where: Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center

Why:        Public Transit is Crucial to our Nation’s Future. From emergency preparedness and cybersecurity to the impact of aging infrastructure and funding challenges, public transportation is a complex multibillion dollar industry that is a crucial part of the solution to many of the nation’s challenges. 

Technologies Shape an Industry. 800+ global exhibitors will showcase technologies and products for improving safety, security, efficiency, and passenger comfort.

EXPO Media Tour on Monday, October 9, 1:00-2:00 p.m. APTA will lead a brief guided tour of the EXPO show floor to highlight a few of the ground-breaking technologies on display.  

Media Lunch on Tuesday, October 10, 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Leaders will share insights on industry trends and the value of public transit to business, and followed by a Q&A session. RSVP required ASAP
