The Procurement & Materials Management Committee is concerned with procurement methods, life cycle cost evaluations, terms and conditions, bond requirements, federal procurement requirements, including DBE, and the relationship between buyers and suppliers of transit equipment, materials, and services. The committee scope also includes materials management and stockroom operations. The committee co-sponsors the Bus Technial, Maintenance and Procurement & Materials Management Workshop. The DBE Task Force organizes the DBE activities at APTA’s Annual Meetings and Expos.
