METROLINK is seeking a Chief Safety, Security and Compliance Officer who will provide leadership and oversight for day-to-day management of the SCRRA’s Systems Safety, Security, and Compliance functions. This position will develop and manage all SCRRA’s System Safety programs, serve as the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) required program compliance officer for mandated FRA programs, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance officer, and be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and analyzing performance of the operations compliance function in accordance with 49 CFR Part 200-399.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Business with emphasis on security management, emergency or disaster management, homeland security, law enforcement or a related field, a minimum of (10) years of work experience in safety management in a railroad environment or law enforcement experience at a management or executive level and a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in system safety and security with the practical application of federal safety regulatory requirements in a railroad environment.

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing all daily operations and for shaping and leading Advance Transit’s strategic long-term vision as well as any planned expansions. The Executive Director must possess outstanding leadership and business skills as well as strong financial management, strategic planning, public relations, community relations, and governmental relations skills.

The Executive Director will be an integral leader in enhancing transportation options in the Upper Valley. Elected officials, businesses, residents, and other stakeholders expect the next Executive Director to lead a team of transit professionals who are capable of managing and implementing innovative transportation solutions to improve mobility and provide greater access to the region for all community members. The Executive Director sees the Transit system as part of a larger multimodal system with due consideration for its impact on economic fairness, opportunity and the environment.

The successful candidate is preferred to have a have a minimum of 10 years’ executive management experience with a large complex operating organization, transit agency or another public or private entity of comparable nature, complexity, and size to Advance Transit.

A Bachelor’s degree in transportation, transportation management, engineering, business management or equivalent is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience consistent with the required qualifications will also be considered.

TRANSIT BUS TIRE LEASE ITB 2021-14

Detailed specifications may be requested on WRTA’s website www.wrtaonline.com/about/procurement-and-surplus/ or by contacting WRTA’s Procurement Specialist, at (330) 941-5761. A request may also be made by emailing rkoenig@wrtaonline.com.

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with requirements set forth in this documentation and must be received in the offices of WRTA on or before Wednesday January 19, 2022 by 12:00 PM where proposals will be promptly opened and read aloud.
