APTA’s Human Resources Committee and the Marketing and Communications Committees joined forces to produce a hot new YouTube video that speaks to the next generation workforce.

We sought out stories from young transit members, 35 and under, holding all types of positions and responsibilities.

The video features transit staff members who are excited to tell their transit career story to the next generation workforce. APTA  premiered the YouTube video at the APTA Annual Meeting & EXPO 2011 in New Orleans.

We thank all those who participated and thank you for the hard work that went into the video submissions we received for this exciting workforce development initiative.

We received an overwhelming response to our request for videos, with over 60 videos submitted from 22 public and private transit members. The final selection included 20 individuals whose transit careers are diverse, exciting and provide an excellent view into the public transit industry for students, young transit professionals, and others who are in career transitition.
