This membership category features diverse organizations that serve the public transportation industry.
Student Members are in a college or university program full-time or part-time as freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in any degree program with an interest in public transportation. Membership lasts for the duration of your studies while you are seeking a degree. Plus, for one year after graduation while you are seeking employment in the transportation industry. This membership is intended for students entering the industry, and not for those with an existing public transit career and returning to school for a graduate degree.
Retirees are those persons who have retired from public transit systems or related businesses who wish to maintain their contacts with the public transportation industry. Individuals who are involved in or seek fee-based consulting activity are not eligible for membership in this category.
