Paula Haskin has ten years experience in public transportation. She began
her employment with IndyGo in 2006 as a Coach Operator for ADA paratransit
demand response. After 9 months, Paula was promoted to a Transportation
Supervisor position. Paula served in the supervisor position for approximately
18 months before she moved into the Manager of Flexible Services role. In 2009,
her career further advanced and she was promoted to Director of Flexible and
Contracted Services and began the primary oversight of IndyGo’s paratransit
demand response and assessment center contracts.
In 2014, Paula graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with her
Associates of Science degree in Business Management. She went on to continue
her education and just recently completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in
Business Administration and Human Resource Specialist Certification. Paula is a
member of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), and
serves as Indiana’s local chapter secretary. She also serves on the Mayor’s
Advisory Council on Disabilities, as well as other advisory boards in Indiana.
Paula has also been a therapeutic foster parent for the past 14 years and has
cared for 40+ children in her home.
