Leadership APTA
Leadership APTA is APTA’s premier professional development program designed to develop and support the next generation of APTA executive and senior leaders and the public transportation industry. Leadership APTA provides you with a transformative year by giving you access to top industry leaders, a distinctive executive program experience including executive roundtables, thought-leadership sessions and activities, skill-building workshops, in-person and virtual sessions, and the challenge to address critical issues through your capstone project journeys.
Emerging Leaders Program
The American Public Transportation Association’s Emerging Leaders Program is a professional development program for individuals new to the public transportation industry. The intended audience for this program are individuals with 3-5 years of industry work experience, including 1-3 years of management, project, or program experience.
The American Public Transportation Foundation
The American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) provides scholarships ranging from $5,000-$12,000 for college students and professionals who want to study or work in transit. These scholarships can go to both undergraduate and graduate students alike. Applicants must be sponsored by an APTA organization.
