Description: The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is revising its regulations governing school bus operations to update outdated information and harmonize the regulation with current statutory language and existing practice. FTA has revised the authority citations to reflectthat the statute regarding school bus operations has been superseded by 49 U.S.C. 5323(f) and several non-substantive edits to increase clarity and accuracy were also made.
