Ignite Innovation Talks

The Innovation Summit is held in conjunction with the TRANSform Conference, Chicago, IL the morning of Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

We will conclude TRANSform with a half-day Innovation Summit. This summit is a premier gathering for public transportation leaders, fostering an environment of collaborative problem-solving and idea exchange. Through a blend of insightful presentations, interactive workshops, and facilitated discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from industry pioneers, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions to the challenges facing the sector. This dynamic format encourages active engagement, allowing participants to build meaningful relationships and uncover new perspectives that will drive progress within their organizations. Don’t miss this chance to be part of the transformative dialogue shaping the future of public transportation.

To be considered as a speaker for the Ignite Innovation Talks, we are accepting short video submissions (no more than 2 minutes) sharing highlights of your presentation or project. We know this is a short video, so we encourage you to share the highlights of your presentation, project and show your energy and excitement.

Guidelines

• The individual submitting the video, must be the person speaking at the summit
• Videos must be no longer than 2 minutes
• Content should not be a sales pitch, but sharing a solution, innovative project
• Speakers selected will have a 5-7 min presentation opportunity during the summit
• Submissions must come from APTA member organizations, agencies or businesses

Step 1: Prepare an informative, interactive, and creative 2-minute video to showcase your subject matter

Step 2: Fill out the form below, click submit and you will receive a confirmation email with a one drive link to upload your video

Step 3: Upload your 2-minute video in the OneDrive folder.   Be sure to label your video with your full name and agency; example:  John Smith_MDtransit  This folder is protected, and you will only be able to upload your video, not view or access any other submissions.

Who Can Submit: APTA members only
Submission Requirements – Video Submission up to 2 minutes (120 seconds)
Submission Deadline – Friday, July 31, 2026

Speakers will be notified by August 21, 2026
