Public Safety Toolbox
TASK FORCE
The Safe, Effective, and Clean Transit Task Force was established to highlight best practices and ongoing efforts of transit agencies and businesses across the country to deliver safe, clean, and reliable public transportation for employees and passengers. Recognizing that customers’ perceptions of safety and cleanliness play a critical role in their decision to use transit, the Task Force serves as a platform to promote, connect, and share the great work being done by the transit industry to meet and exceed customer expectations.
The goal of the Task Force is to enhance public confidence in transit by amplifying success stories and innovations that demonstrate the industry’s commitment to providing safe, clean, and effective service. The Task Force will also provide a one-stop repository for transit agencies and businesses to access best practices, proven strategies, and examples of emerging technologies and methods.

This form starts that process. APTA is creating a resource hub to collect and share these and we will follow up from here!
