Abstract

This recommended practice describes a process for a typical procurement from inception through contract closeout and warranty. The major steps in that process are:

Identify and explore the need
Evaluate options and establish need for procurement
Select procurement method
Develop final solicitation
Execute solicitation
Contract administration

Summary
