Summary
Well-designed transit stops and a supportive surrounding environment ensure good access to transit and encourage ridership and a positive customer experience. This recommended practice is intended to support transit agencies to actively pursue access improvements by describing the on-street stop design features and characteristics that improve or support access to transit.
