Summary
This standard specifies minimum strength, crashworthiness and fire safety requirements for fixed crew seats in the operator’s compartment of a locomotive or cab car. This standard describes the test conditions and performance requirements necessary to demonstrate compliance. This standard becomes effective on the date of authorization stated on the title page.
