Scholarship Program

The American Public Transportation Association established the Transit Hall of Fame Scholarship Award in 1987. The American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) administers the program. The purpose of the scholarship award program is to increase and retain the number of young professionals entering the transit field as a career and to offer professional development opportunities in order to sustain growth and improvement within the industry.
