Description: This rule makes administrative updates to FRA’s steam locomotive inspection and maintenance standards regulations, including updating addresses that are no longer valid. FRA is amending § 230.14(b) by replacing references to “Regional Administrator” with “FRA Motive Power and Equipment Division Staff Director” or “Staff Director.” These amendments are being made to ensure information gets to the agency subject matter expert in the specific discipline. The same changes were made in references to the “Regional Administrator” or “FRA Regional Administrator” in § 230.14(c), § 230.15(b), § 230.16(b), § 230.16(c), § 230.17(b), § 230.18(b), § 230.20(a) and (b), § 230.33(a), (c), and (d), § 230.34(a), and § 230.96(b).
