Description: The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is revising its regulations on the agency’s organization, functions, and procedures at 49 CFR Part 601 to update information and increase clarity. These regulations describe the various offices of which FTA is comprised, and the sources and locations of available information about FTA programs. They also provide information regarding FTA’s procedures for rulemaking and emergency relief petitions. This final rule makes several non-substantive edits for clarity and accuracy, along with updates to reflect new addresses, changes to minor procedural requirements, and increase citation precision.
